I'm an assistant sports editor at The Baltimore Sun, where I oversee coverage of major league baseball's Baltimore Orioles. In addition to editing our stories on the Orioles, I also contribute to Orioles Insider, The Sun's blog for news on and analysis of the team. Additionally, I help produce the Sports sections of www.baltimoresun.com and pitch in to edit stories about the NFL's Baltimore Ravens, the Maryland Terrapins and other local college sports teams, Baltimore-area high school sports and more.
I was born in Silver Spring, Md., and grew up in Columbia, Md., graduating from Atholton High in 2002. I attended the University of Maryland, graduating in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Before joining The Baltimore Sun as a sports copy editor in December 2006, I worked as an assistant news service editor for McClatchy-Tribune Information Services in Washington, DC. I lived in South Baltimore for four years and now reside in Capitol Hill in Washington.
Shockingly, baseball. I'm a fan of pretty much every other sport, too, especially the NFL and college football and basketball. I like playing baseball and basketball, and enjoy music, movies and TV as much as the next guy.
