My Role

My job is a combination of staff photographer and assignment editor. Everyday I shoot assignments and I work closely with reporters in coordinating photos to go with their stories. I also hire freelancers and make sure assignments are completed in a timely and quality manner.
My Biography

I have worked at the Chicago Tribune for a 17 years, first as a staff photographer and currently as the Photo Bureau Chief of the North/Northwest region. I have a degree from the University Of Minnesota in Spanish, Latin American Studies and Photojournalism.
My Interests

Travel, sports, art, music and education reform.
