My Role

I have been at the Tribune for 16 years. I'm currently a copy editor on the sports desk. During my tenure, I've done almost everything in the sports department, including: copy editing, TV/radio listings editing, scoreboard agate editing, writing prep and college game stories and features, scheduling, writing roundups for preps, college and professional sports, some supervisory duties.

My favorite story was one I wrote on Chris Nowinski, who is the co-founder and executive director of the Sports Legacy Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the sports concussion crisis. Back in 2002 when I did the story, Chris was working as a pro wrestler for WWE.
