Sports community manager for the Daily Press

Education - Deshler High School (Deshler, Ohio), graduated in 1966. BSJ from Ohio University in 1970. Started work at the Daily Press on Oct. 5, 1970 and over the years have been a copy editor, reporter, interim sports editor, audiotex manager, radio studio manager, newscaster for local public radio station, high school sports editor and online producer. Married Charlotte on July 28, 2007, inherited two grandsons and have seen two other grandsons born.

Movies, travel, Hampton Roads high school football history, creative loafing and an eye toward retirement. Oh yeah, dealing with 4 outstanding grandsons.
