1717 North Penny Lane Suite 3
General assignment reporter based in Chicago's north suburbs. I enjoy writing human interest stories, and am always looking for quirky tales that solve a mystery or make people laugh. I enjoy writing about people who rise above extraordinary circumstances or bring joy to otherwise mundane tasks in life. I also like to bring down an occasional bad guy.
I have worked at the Chicago Tribune since 1996, and previously was a reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's degree in communications, and have taken graduate courses at Dominican University.
