Lauren works closely with the Chicago Tribune's newsroom blog and audience engagement program: Trib Nation, the reader help desk and the newsroom events team.

Originally from Cleveland, OH, Lauren traveled to Chicago and fell in love with the city, the neighborhoods and Chicago style hot dogs. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago where she earned a B.A. in Communication. Before joining the Tribune, Lauren interned with Storm Communications in London, Fox Chicago News and the Chicago bureau of CBS national news.
