My Role

I handle coverage of food, family and pets for The Baltimore Sun. I also have a parenting blog called Maryland Family Now and am the editor of Maryland Family Magazine.

I was a business-news reporter at the Sun from 1998 until 2002 when I had my first child and took what I now refer to as a very extended maternity leave. Along the way I was the communications director of a local non-profit and did extensive freelance writing.
