Responsible for toning photos for reproduction in the newspaper. I supervise a group of 4 people that use Photoshop to color correct, sharpen and improve the contrast of digital photos so they appear accurate in the paper.
I started at the Tribune in the old darkroom days when we made actual prints from film! I learned how to be a darkroom technician while majoring in photography in college and at several large photo labs that catered to the advertising and fashion industries.
