I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana and grew up reading the Tribune. Before joining the Tribune in 2012, I was the A1 editor at The Indianapolis Star for four years. I spent four years as an assistant national editor at The Washington Times. I started my newspaper career at The Times of Northwest Indiana, where I worked for 10 years as a copy editor, wire editor and designer.
