As the Consumer editor for the Features department, I generate ideas for, assign and edit Lifestyle-related stories you might read in the Tribune's Sunday, Good Eating or Travel sections, and on ChicagoTribune.com. If there's a hot new product or service to be tested and shared with the consuming world, I may be your woman. I'm also part of our National Content/MOD (media on demand) team.
I've been lucky to have worked from some of the world's greatest media companies in Chicago, covering arts, culture, entertainment and lifestyle as a writer and editor. The Chicago Tribune is no exception. I've jumped around from print to Web journalism over the years, and I enjoy both thoroughly.
Music, travel, reading (minds and literature), writing, dining out, exploring Chicago, learning guitar (I'm a 5th-year Freshman at Guitar University), being a good aunt and sleeping.
