I design and art direct the Good Eating pages of the Chicago Tribune and design food and other lifestyles modules for Tribune newspapers. I am currently part time.

I have a degree in Print Journalism from Western Kentucky University and started my career at the Albuquerque Journal. I later was features design team leader at the Times of Northwest Indiana before coming to the Tribune in 2000.

I have received numerous Society of News Design and Print Design Annual awards. I was a judge of features pages at the 2005 SND Awards. I have also received 2 publishers' awards at the Tribune and have been recognized for outstanding performance at the Tribune.

I live with my husband Dave Nichols and daughter Sophie in Chicago.

I enjoy reading, yoga, cooking, travel and exercise.
