I am responsible for planning Page 1 centerpieces, News Focus page packages and other enterprise coverage for the Chicago Tribune. I work with colleagues across all newsroom departments—including editing, photography and design—to plan and execute a steady stream of compelling stories and visuals that are in keeping with the newspaper’s mission.
I am passionate about serving Tribune readers. I joined the company in 2002 to help launch RedEye, serving first as Features Editor and later as News Editor and Deputy Editor. I became Planning Editor at the Chicago Tribune in 2008. Before joining the Tribune, I was a reporter at Advertising Age.
