Antonio Perez is a full-time staff photographer at the Chicago Tribune. At the Tribune, he photographs news events, as well as human interest and sports. He has worked as a photojournalist for the Tribune company for the last 18 years. 10 years at Exito, the Tribune's former weekly newspaper and the last 8 years at the Chicago Tribune. Perez’s photographs have been exhibited at The Art Institute of Chicago, Smithsonian Museum, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Mexican Fine Arts Museum, Chicago Historical Society and the Wright Gallery at UCLA. They have also appeared in several publications and magazines including People Magazine, The New York Times, Chicago Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune Magazine. Perez worked on projects documenting Chicago's southeast side with the Focus Infinity Project, Americanos, Latino life in the U.S, and Chicago in the Year 2000. Bachelor’s degree in photography from Columbia College, Chicago. Perez is married to Rocio, and has two teenage boys.
