General Assignment reporter for The Baltimore Sun, new Maryland transplant and East Coast girl who has found my way back up to the Northeast (sort of).

I most recently worked as the State House reporter for The Post and Courier in Charleston, S.C., where I covered the presidential primaries, former Gov. Mark Sanford's fall from grace and eventual exit from the public stage, the rise of tea party favorite Gov. Nikki Haley, and the impact public policy decisions had on everyday South Carolinians.

I got my journalism start at The Reading Eagle in Reading, Pa.

I love non-fiction reads that are chock full of the sort of trivia that could lead to my future dominance on "Millionaire," am admittedly (mildly?) obsessed with my two hound dogs and working toward a collection of stamps on my passport.
