My Role

I cover consumer technology and local startups for the business desk, writing about topics such as social media, digital culture and the Chicago entrepreneurial scene.
My Biography

I joined the Tribune in November 2007. I was previously a reporter at Dow Jones Newswires in New York and Buenos Aires, Argentina. While in New York, I wrote about emerging market debt and Latin American economies. Prior to that, I was a correspondent based in Buenos Aires covering the Argentine financial markets and publicly traded companies. I never learned how to dance tango despite spending nearly three years in Argentina.

I graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2003.
