I write editorials and blog posts on politics and government,and on public policy issues spanning the environment, growth and development, transportation, insurance and the arts.
My Biography

I came to the Orlando Sentinel's editorial board in 2006 from Michigan, where I was editorial page editor of The Ann Arbor News. I also worked as an editor at The Courier-Journal in Louisville; as editor of and lead columnist for Empire State Report magazine in Albany, N.Y.; and as a government reporter for The Record in Troy, N.Y. I began my journalism career in Chicago, my home town.

I also worked as an investigator with the Attorney General's Office in Indianapolis, and graduated with a degree in history from Indiana University-Bloomington.
