As an investigative reporter, Sally Kestin reports on a range of local and state topics that involve holding public officials accountable and exposing waste and inefficiencies in government.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Sally Kestin graduated from Northwestern University and has worked at Florida newspapers for 26 years, the last 14 as an investigative reporter. Sally and colleague John Maines won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for public service in 2013 for a series on off-duty police speeding. She has won state and national awards for other investigations, including series documenting widespread fraud and waste in FEMA disaster aid and caregivers with criminal records.
