My Role

Coordinate family and garden content for Media on Demand/Tribune Newspapers and the Sunday lifestyle section of the Chicago Tribune.
My Biography

I graduated with bachelor's and masters degrees in journalism from Roosevelt University. Studied dance for many years (and even majored in it for a while). Been with Tribune for 15 years, mostly as an editor with Good Eating. Prior to that, I was an entertainment editor with Pioneer Press, based in the Oak Park office, and way before that, held the same post for the now defunct Des Plaines Publishing group of weekly newspapers. And before THAT (!) I was a ballet and modern dancer. But not so long ago that I knew Anna Pavlova (but I DID know a member of her company!).
My Interests

Too many. Gardening, baking and cooking, wine, papercrafts, needlecrafts, fiction, sports. And, yes: tiki.
