I am a senior reporter covering residential and commercial real estate. I joined the Sentinel just as the historic housing boom was ending and have written about foreclosures, price declines and other aspects of the devastating downturn.
I started out as a sports writer and ended up as a business writer. I was a sports intern for the Orlando Sentinel while attending the University of Central Florida in the 1980s. I later moved to a small daily to cover city hall in Fort Pierce before joining the Daily Business Review in West Palm Beach. After a stint as a newsletter editor at LRP Publications in Palm Beach Gardens, I covered commercial real estate for The Palm Beach Post. I joined the Sun Sentinel on Oct. 24, 2005, the same day Hurricane Wilma hit South Florida.
I enjoy reading and playing pickup basketball with friends. I'm also a fantasy football enthusiast.
