Writer, Editorial Sr
I specialize in writing editorials that reflect the prevailing view of the editorial board on space policy, economic issues, legal issues, health care, housing, the city of Orlando and Seminole County. I write on many other issues as well.
I've been an editorial writer at the Sentinel since 2002. I came here after a stint as an editor and reporter for The Associated Press in Maryland and nearly a decade as a reporter, editor and columnist for the Charleston (W.Va.) Daily Mail. I got a master's degree in journalism from Stanford University after working a couple of years each for the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and the U.S. Department of Energy. I got my B.A. from Swarthmore College in history.
