I was named the UConn men's basketball beat reporter for The Hartford Courant in September, 2005. I'm now in my sixth season covering the team. Where UConn goes, I go. Through games stories, notebooks, features, a blog and Twitter, I offer a daily, year-round look into one of the NCAA's most successful, and interesting, basketball programs.
I'm a Connecticut lifer, save for four years spent in New Hampshire while in college, and have bounced around the Hartford area since being hired in 1999. In my time at The Courant, I have covered everything from miniature golf and high school football to the NBA and Major League Baseball. Previous to the UConn beat, I covered the WNBA's Connecticut Sun. I continue to spend time reporting and writing in-depth profiles and feature stories, particularly in the basketball offseason.
