I lay out the Orlando Sentinel's Lake County section, copy-edit and write headlines for the Sentinel's front page, fill in as needed, post stories online, push via social media.

A Navy kid, I was born in San Francisco and have lived in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. I came to the Orlando Sentinel in 1999. In 2005, I discovered I have a half sister in Chicago. My mom lives in Tallahassee, and my dad is semiretired and living on St. Maarten. My partner since 1992, Dan, also works at the Sentinel.
