Before coming to the Tribune, Lauren worked in the communications department of multiple non-profit organizations, including the Make-a-Wish Foundation in Ann Arbor, MI and the Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, D.C. She graduated with a dual degree in English Literature and Communication Studies from the University of Michigan.
