I began working in journalism in 1966, for the former Hearst owned News American. In 1969 i moved to the Baltimore Evening Sun, and when that paper ended in 1995, I became a Baltimore Sun reporter. I have covered both Howard and Baltimore county and worked as a rewrite person for some years. Over time I've reported virtually every type of story in the Baltimore area.I was born and grew up in Baltimore, and now live in columbia, Md.
