Lehigh County and federal court beat. I also contribute to The Morning Call's parenting blog and our sports talk blog.
I've been working for The Morning Call since 2007. My career started in November 2000 with the Pocono Record in Stroudsburg, Pa.. From 2005 to 2007, I worked for The Times Leader in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. I've covered local governments, school districts, the police beat, local and federal courts and I've won many state journalism awards for investigative journalism, spot news reporting, ongoing news coverage and general news reporting. I've also written sports columns for the three newspapers I've worked for. I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a mass communications degree in 2000. I minored in sociology.
I love writing court stories. The human drama in courthouses is amazing. I also love to write about sports, especially ice hockey which I've played most of my life.
