27 years in daily journalism in Connecticut -- Bristol Press until 1982-85; New Haven Register, 1985-96; Hartford Courant 1996 to present, and for many years to come.

Journalism Instructor, Southern Connecticut State University, 2000 to present.

Temple University grad;

Member of the Courant's PulitzerPrize-winning coverage team on the lottery killings in 1999.

Regional and national award-winning stories include piece on hartford Neighborhood Centers fraud schemes that sent to two people to jail (worked with reporter Lisa Chedekel); and series on blackmarket steroids in 2005 that prececded law-enforcement crackdown on these sites and these operators. (Worked with Paul Doyle and Jeff Smith.)
