Metro reporter. I came up through the Tribune via the old City News Service, covering murders, fires, courts and general mayhem. In 2007, I became one of the founding reporters for the Tribune's new "Continuous News Desk," now called the Breaking News Center. There, I covered....murders, fires, courts and general mayhem. For the past two years, I've worked as legman to PAge 2 columnist John Kass.
I was born and raised on the East Coast [Connecticut and New York] and became a Midwesterner by default. Hence my love of the New York Yankees. But I've been in Chicago since 1996, so that's plenty long to call this city home.
