My Role

If you want to find out about outdoor activities or the new AHL hockey team in Allentown, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, you've got to read me. I cover hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, cycling, running and skiing and ice hockey. Throw in Lehigh University wrestling, one of the most storied programs in NCAA Division I wrestling, and whatever else comes across my plate.
My Biography

Call me Mr. Outdoors, Mr. Active and Mr. Indoors. Call me Mr. Outdoors. I've been writing about hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and nature for The Morning Call since 2008. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms hit Allentown in the fall of 2014. Call me Mr. Active. I've been writing about professional cycling since 1994 thanks to the best velodrome in the country, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, which resides here in Trexlertown, known worldwide in the cycling community as T-Town. Call me Mr. Indoors. I'm a member of the District XI Wrestling Hall of Fame and cover Lehigh University wrestling. I've covered everything from flag football to pro football, have covered two Super Bowls, three Stanley Cup finals, two Summer Olympics, World Cup soccer and numerous heavyweight championship fights featuring Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. I'm also a licensed soccer coach and referee.
My Interests

I love the outdoors, but I love just about everything I've ever covered, including football, hockey, soccer, boxing and wrestling. Life is a highway and I've found plenty of games along that road.
