Doreen Hemlock is a long-time reporter who lived and worked in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Peru, Venezuela and Puerto Rico before moving to South Florida. Born in New York and raised in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands Caribbean, Doreen pursued Caribbean and Latin American studies in college, with a focus on economic development and semesters studying in Spain, Texas and Peru.
