My responsibilities bridge both design and editing. I edit and design fashion, style and health coverage that appears in the Sunday section of the Chicago Tribune, as well as other Tribune owned newspapers. I also art direct and contribute content to TRIB, the Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine, which covers topics such as home design, entertaining, style and our summer and winter pleasures issues.

Editor David Syrek is involved in the creation of stories, images and pages that appear in the newspaper as well as the Sunday Magazine. His interest in design, art, food and style has been realized in the printed and digital pages of the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Tribune Magazine.
