My Role

Washington D.C. correspondent covering local congressional delegation on Capitol Hill, federal policy, and campaigns
My Biography

I've been the Washington correspondent for The Morning Call for three and a half years covering such high-profile national stories as Arlen Specter's defeat, Rick Santorum's unlikely rise in the presidential primary and Pennsylvania's battleground status. I've been picked up in national media, appeared on cable news, and even received a mention in Specter's final book.

Born and raised in Lancaster, Pa, I attended Hofstra University in Long Island and graduated with an honors degree in print journalism and political science. I spent the first four months after college in London, England working as a special correspondent for Newsday covering the 2005 subway bombings. I returned to Lancaster to work for one year at the Intelligencer Journal as an education reporter. I then worked at Congressional Quarterly on the transportation beat for three years before joining The Morning Call in November 2009.
