My Biography

A proud native of Mundelein, Ill., Casey is part of the Chicago Tribune Newsroom Events team, helping bring together a wide array of live events that connect readers to the stories that appear in the Chicago Tribune. In addition, he is the producer of "The Sunday Papers with Rick Kogan," a Sunday morning radio program on WGN Radio 720.

Casey also works from time to time as a freelance theatrical stage manager and musician. His recent work includes shows at the Building Stage, House Theatre of Chicago, Lookingglass Theatre Company and Chicago Children's Theatre at the Goodman. He was a member of Be the Groove, a Chicago-based rhythmic performance ensemble, and is an alumnus of Northwestern University.
