I edit news stories written in Spanish by reporters at El Sentinel, and translate articles from the Orlando Sentinel that are relevant to the growing Hispanic community in Central Florida. I also write articles in Spanish on general assigments, often focusing on the arts and entertainment.
A native of Havana, Cuba, I moved to Orlando from New York City, where I worked at several media outlets including the Spanish daily el diario/La Prensa and Hoy, for over 20 years. I have a BA in Journalism from University of Havana and a MA in Spanish Language and Literature from City University of New York.
